October 3 - December 31, 1862 -- Stationed at Jackson, Tennessee January 1 - April 15, 1863 -- Stationed at Camp Reed in Jackson, Tennessee Mach - April, 1863 -- Stationed at Corinth, Mississippi April 20, 1863 -- On this day we were ordered to Corinth from Jackson, whether we came by railroad, nothing of any importance transpiring on the route. May - June, 1863 - Stationed at Moscow, Tennessee July - August 1863 - Stationed on the march, Clarendon, Arkansas. September - October, 1863 -- Stationed at camp opposite Little Rock, Arkansas. November - December, 1863 -- Stationed at camp near Memphis, Tennessee. November 16-20, 1863 -- Changed station from Little Rock, Arkansas to Memphis, Tennessee. Transported by rail to Devall's Bluff, distance forty-four miles. [Moved] thence to Memphis by water, distance 375 miles. March - April, 1864 -- Stationed at Alexandria, Louisiana May - June, 1864 -- Stationed near La Grange, Tennessee. July - August, 1864 -- Stationed at Memphis, Tennessee. September - October, 1864 -- Stationed at Pleasant hill, Missouri. September 4 - October 31, 1864 -- This company embarked with the regiment at Memphis for Cairo; thence to Jefferson Barracks, from there by rail to Mineral Point, returning to Jefferson Barracks. Marched via Jefferson City, striking the line of Kansas at [Little] Santa Fe, returning across the Missouri River at Glasgow, Missouri; thence returning to Saint Louis. November - December 1864 -- Stationed in the field, Tennessee. November 25 - 28, 1864 -- This company moved with the regiment from Saint Louis by water to Cairo, Illinois, arriving November 28. December 1 - 16, 1864 -- From thence to Nashville, arriving December 1; took part in the battle of Nashville, state of Tennessee December 15 and 16, 1864. December 17, 1864 -- Marched from battlefield in pursuit of Hood's retreating Army via Franklin, Columbia, Pulaski, etc., to Clifton on Tennessee River. January - February, 1865 -- Stationed near New Orleans, Louisiana January 2 - 5, 1865 -- Arrived at Clifton; moved from thence by water January 5 to Eastport. February 9 - 21, 1864 -- Commenced fortifying; moved by water from Eastport February 9 to New Orleans; arrived February 21, 1865. March - April 1865 -- Stationed at Montgomery, Alabama. April 9, 1865 -- This company was with the regiment in the movement on Fort Blakely and participated in the engagement which took place, resulting in the capitulation of that stronghold with a large amount of war material, prisoners, etc. May - June, 1865 -- Stationed in the field near Montgomery, Alabama April 27 - June 30, 1865 -- This company has been stationed, since the date of last muster, with the regiment near Montgomery doing picket and guard duty since their arrival at this point from Blakely, Alabama. |
