November 16-20, 1863 -- Embarked on board steamer Rose Hambleton and sailed for Memphis, Tennessee, distance 392 miles. Arrived at Memphis, Tennessee November 20.
March - April 1864 -- Stationed at Alexandria, Louisiana
March 10, 1864 -- Lay there until March 10. Sailed with the fleet and forces in command of General A. J. Smith on Red River expedition. Ran up Old River and down the Atchafalaya some sixty miles.
March 14, 1864 -- [Moved by] forced marches for Fort De Russy. Took Fort De Russy by storm.
March 15, 1864 -- Sailed up Red River to Alexandria, Louisiana. Lay there several days, then marched to landing twenty miles above. Thence sailed to Grand Ecore Landing.
April 7, 1864 -- Marched for Shreveport.
April 9-12, 1864 -- Had a general engagement with the enemy. Fell back and arrived at Grand Ecore Landing April 12. Thence fell back by land to Alexandria, distance eighty miles, skirmishing at intervals all the way.
July - August, 1864 -- Stationed at Memphis, Tennessee
July 14, 1864 -- In battle of Tupelo
July 15, 1864 -- Also in battle of Old Town Creek, Mississippi, July 15. On expedition to Oxford, Mississippi. Both Expeditions commanded by General A. J. Smith.
October 2, 1864 -- Left on march in pursuit of Rebel General Price's forces. Marched across the state through Jefferson City, Lexington and Independence. On return crossed Missouri River at Glasgow.
November 18, 1864 -- Arrived at Camp Gamble, Saint Louis by way of Saint Charles. Transported from Saint Louis, Missouri by steamer to Nashville, Tennessee.
December 15-16, 1864 -- In battle before Nashville, Tennessee.
December 17, 1864 -- Marched from Nashville, Tennessee to camp in the field near Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, where the company was mustered. Am ignorant of the distances.
February 1 - 21, 1865 -- Left Eastport, Mississippi transported by steamer Tarascon to New Orleans, Louisiana, February 21 and went into camp in the parish of Chalmette, Louisiana near New Orleans.
March 7, 1865 -- Marched sixty-five miles; embarked on board ocean steamer Empire City and sailed to Dauphin Island, Alabama. From Dauphin Island transported by steamer Starlight up Fish River, Alabama. Moved up toward Spanish Fort. Moved up to and invested Fort Blakely, Alabama.
April 9, 1865-- Assaulted and took Fort Blakely, Alabama, with some 2,000 prisoners.
April 13, 1865 -- Commenced march towards Montgomery.
April 27, 1865 -- Passed through and encamped two miles north of Montgomery.
