My G.G.Grandfather Lewis Harris was in the Iowa 3rd Infantry Co.E. I`d like to know the movements of his Regiment through out the war. I know he was captured in Miss. Feb. of 64 and almost died in Andersonville.I have some paperwork for Andersonville Hospital and shows the date Feb 29th. I looked that up and 1864 had a leap year.
