Hello! My name is Chris Johnson and am a Civil War buff living here in Cedar Falls Iowa. I noticed here that you are looking for copies of letters, diaries, photos of members of the 14th Iowa Infantry. Have you seen Steve Meyer's book "Iowa Valor"? It was published in 1996, and is a very detailed book on Iowa's roll in the war and is full of photos and letters. In it there are about six letters from members of the 14th and two photos. Thought that you might be interested in it if you hadn't already seen it. The ISBN of the book is: ISBN 0-9630284-3-X Published by Meyer Publishing Company Garrison, IA 52229.
