Hi, Does anyone know anything about an attack on officers of the 23rd Infantry? I just got new information: "In May 9th, 1863, 100 men attacked officers Capt. George; First Lieutenant Washington Rollen; Second Lieutenant Isaak Walker, Third Sergeant Albert Vaneater; & Fifth Seargeant L. Davis." Does anyone know how to confirm this or where I might try to search? I know my g-g-grandfather, George BARKER, was a witness at a Court Martial, could it be from this incident? Thanks, Barb Tesluk
