OOOPS! My bad? You may want to look at Steve Meyer's book "Iowa Valor." On page 233 he discusses Iowan's in the Battle of G'burg and notes that there were some Iowan's there...but probably less than 100. They served with regiments from Wisconsin & Illinois, as well as with the Federal army. One Iowan was serving with the 124th New York on Little Round Top on July 2. Without invading more copywritten information I'd encourage you to pick up a copy of the book...write to Meyer Publishing, Garrison, IA...or check your local book store or library. Sorry...I withdraw the question in my previous post...
