My name is George McNamara (located in Philadelphia. For the past 15 years, it has been my honor to work with Dr. Richard Mudd on behalf of his grandfather - Civil War era physician Dr. Samuel A. Mudd. We have worked to rehabilitate the name and reputation of Samuel and we are now in the Court of Appeals in Washington, DC. If your discussion group would like an article on the work, I would be happy, for informational purposes, to supply same. Unfortunately, Dr. Richard Mudd passed away on May 21st at the age of 101. We honor his life and memory but continue his work. Thank you for any consideration.
