My ancestor, Zachariah BARNES, enlisted on 14 Aug 1862, discharged 2 Aug 1865. Joined PHIL KEARNEY GAR POST on 3 June 1913. Zachariah contracted lung disease in Sep 1864 while unit was in Little Rock, AR. He died 24 Feb 1921 and his body was transported and buried in Red Cloud, NE.
