H, 12 Reg. Ia. Vol. Inf. -GAR. I can only find info on Co. A --E, but no farther. Any help is appreciated. His name is: Lycurgus Erastus Cromwell. Thank you. Found a cannon ball. Made for the Dictator CannonFrom: [email protected] CommentsI found a cannon ball in the septic tank about two years ago while working for my father. I found out that the cannon ball was made to be shot out of the dictator cannon in the Battle of Petersburg. I've read on a few sites there is no longer a original cannon left in the world and that there were only 45 of these cannon balls shot in the Civil war. The cannon was used by the union troops. If anyone knows how much the cannon ball woould be worth please let me know. Thank you.
