14th Iowa casulties

Is there a list of kia, wia, mia or pow,s involving the 14th? My great grandfather Sgt W.A. Bucher and his brother Abraham were both in the 14th Co. D. I know what became of W.A. Bucher, but know nothing of Abraham. Did he survive? Was he taken prisoner at the "Hornets Nest? Does anyone know?

I also had an ancestor in the Iowa 7th Calvary. I just learned of a book entitled "The Indian War of 1864" with was written by a man in the 7th. Haven't read it yet but am told that it is considered a classic and even a collectible book.

I am seeking information on my great grandfather Wm. W. Slade, on his tombstone is, SGT. Co. L I IA. CAV. he was born in 1838 died 1935, he was a civil war vet. He is buried in Harveyville, KS.
