Motive power is a Chinese steam locomotive JS#8419. The BSV's EASTSIDE ELECTRIC trolley line now operates a restored 1915 interurban trolley car on a 20 minute round trip to downtown Boone, with educational interpretation. Railroad gift shop. Steam cab ride available(extra fee). Steam trips weekends & holidays at 11AM, 1:30 PM & 4PM. Diesel train trip 1:30 PM weekdays. Open May through November.
