This Web site, the largest and most comprehensive Iowa web site on the Internet was started in 1996 as a way of saying Thank You to the Great State of Iowa. It's purpose it to promote and to educate the entire world about one of the finest places on earth by one of the first computer consulting firms in the state of Iowa - Data Control and Design Ltd. In 1999 the site was taken over by Kade LLC who continues to maintain the high standards and continues to improve and expand the site.

With most sites having less that 20 pages as an average, iowa-counties.com is the Premier Iowa Site without any peer!

If your looking for a ton of fancy graphics, we suggest you look elsewhere. The display of graphics is not the purpose of this site. We have some yes, but unless they serve a specific purpose, we try to keep them at a minimum for speeds sake. Some sites you visit on the Internet appear that their only purpose, to show you how well they can create graphics. Not here, our purpose is to show you IOWA!
