Tabor, a town located in the beautiful Loess Hills, can offer your family the best of both worlds. Tabor has a quick commuting distance on interstate and newly constructed roads of only 30 minutes to Council Bluffs, Iowa, and 40 minutes to Omaha, Nebraska, yet still maintains its small-town charm. Our community enjoys the quick access to the most modern medical and shopping facilities, but Tabor's businesses are alert to metropolitan competition and meet it with excellent merchandising and service.
Fremont-Mills School
 All of us take pride in a splendid school system which appropriately carries the name of Fremont-Mills since Tabor is shared by those two counties.
There are five active churches in Tabor: United Congregational Church, First Christian Church, United Methodist, Weaver Memorial Church of the Nazarene, Reorganized Church of the Latter Day Saints.
Tabor has a very active Historical Society which is dedicated to preserving our rich heritage. There are many other organizations that are active in the betterment of our community.
Tabor has its own public library, medical center, and the state-approved Tabor Manor Care Center. This year we will celebrate the 65th annual Farmers-Merchants Picnic during the month of July. Join us for the fun!
