My Neal grandparents Henry W.Neal and Angeline Neal plus three of thier children appear in the 1880 US Census. The census place is identified as Soldier, Crawford County, IA. Current maps show Soldier located in Monona County,IA. Can anyone tell me which county would have been correct for Soldier in 1880? Also where can I find out more about Soldier and surrounding area?
