He was living with his daughter and mother in law,Carrie Canfield. Since we live in New Hampshire, any info would be greatly appreciated [_private/disc3_aftr.htm]Josiah LAWS of Howard CountyFrom: John LAWS ([email protected]) CommentsI am researching the LAWS family. My line includes a William LAWS b. 1819 Hilgay, Norfolk, England who immigrated living in Dane County, Wisconson and then after the CIvil War moved to Wells, Faribault County,Minn. He had a brother, Mager LAWS b. 1816 who's son Major LAWS b. 1844 was from Howard County and had 13 children. There was another brother names Josiah LAWS b. 1824 Hilgay, Norfolk, England. My Josiah was married to Elanor on the 1841 Norfolk Census. On the county website, they mention a Josiah LAWS as a prominant early settler of Howard County. Anyone have any info? By the way, there is also a Robert LAWS b. 1821 that I can't find. |
