Hi, Shirley, I have reason to believe that my Marquis, Marcus D. MILLER is related to your MILLERs. Did your MILLERs originate in NY? If so, please email me at [email protected] Regards, Judith Goodwin in FL

Hello, My grandmother was Hope Stewart-Fellows. She lived in Van Buren county but I think she was born in Davis county. She died at fifty in the fifties. I have a rare disease which may or may not be inherited. I had genetic analysis done by top researchers in the field. One researcher thinks it may be inherited but it’s very rare. Then again it may not be inherited. Currently, I’m involved in the University of Florida, Congenital Lactic Acidosis (CLA) and exercise study. I find it interesting that a small boy also involved in another UofF CLA study is living in Centerville, IA only one county west of where my grandma was born. In Centerville’s yellow pages I found many Stewarts. I do not have CLA but a closely associated mitochondria disorder which causes high lactic acid among other symptoms. One very visible symptom is one or both eye lids drooping. My right eye stated to droop in my late twenties and I had it corrected twice call ptosis repair. Digestion problems, mental as in developmental (IQ) or anxiety and episodic breathing problems may also be involved among other things. I’m very mildly effected so far. But my relatives have had some severe problems that I have wonder if related. Anyway not much is known by especially local doctors and misdiagnosis is common. This may just be a coincidence but I just wanted to check it out. As you know a majority of those who live in your area are decedents of the first settlers, as I was. If anyone knows of the family of the little boy with CLA in Centerville, please tell them about this Email and that I would like to exchange genealogical information. Also, if anyone is more interested I would not mind further communication.
