mary bell caswellFrom: anyah cook CommentsQ: I am having trouble finding my husband's mother. She was born in Iowa on 6/13/1903. I do not know the county or city. Obviously, I am brand new to geneaology. I was able to find the rest of her family in Wisconsin simply by using the 1910 census and an all county birth register. (They moved to Wisconsin sometime between 1903 and 1906 when her sister was born.) However, my local LDS center nor library have those. Her father, austin Baldwin Caswell, worked as a freight agent for a railroad for tanneries or the railroad. Can someone point me in the right direction? I do not have internet access right now, but you can reach me at 407-977-1394 or 1-800-432-9988 x 2410. I think all I need is an all county birth record for Iowa before 1907. Thanks! Meyer/Meier/WilleFrom: Clayton Co., Allamakee Co. CommentsMy great grandparents settled in Clayton Co, IA in the 1800's. They were John Karl Meyer or Meier and Elizabeth (Wille) Meyer or Meier. They are buried at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery as Carl and Elizabeth Meier. They died in 1912 and 1925 respectively. They had 11 children Bertha Wilhelmine b 11/20/1878, Charley E b. 8/9/1880, Anna Minna b 10/9/1889, Johan Friederick b 2/12/1891, Lina Anna b 1/20/1887, Wilhelm Carl b 4/18/1892, Minna Dorethe b 5/10/1875, Fritz Carl b. 10/14/1882, Bertha Sophia b. February 2, 1884, Johan Freidrick Carl b 2/18/1877,in Clayton Co., Elsa Friederke b. 10/2/1894, Wilhelm Carl b 4/18/1892 in Allamakee Co. I am looking for anyone who would be related to or knows anything about the above people. I would like to know what part of Germany they came from or any other information about them.
