Hi ya'll,

I live in Mississippi and do not have any libraries near by that have information on Iowa. I was told by someone on the internet the Norway Centennial Book mentioned James McQuin and that he was born in 1820 in Nova Scotia,Canada. If any one has access to any Norway, Iowa records, census, etc. would you please check for James McQuin. I know he did not stay there because my husband's grandmother, Melissa McQuin, daughter of James, lived in Cherokee, Iowa. I have no other information on James so anything will be appreciated. What year was Norway's centennial?
