Please send NE Phillips information to me at [email protected] I will exchange mine with you. Sarah Rose Leach name--I don't have a clue where to start! From: [email protected] CommentsI am looking (for my mom) for ancestors from Iowa. The first one I am seeking information on is John C. Leach, DOB unknown, died 9/16/1920. He served in the Civil War in the Third Iowa Cavalry in 1864-1865. He lived in Bloomfield (Davis County), and is buried in Troy. He was married twice--first wife's name unknown, second wife's name--Lizzie Darnell. He had several children, but the only one whose name is known is John Stanley Leach, (3/1899-1/1952). He also had a son called "Red" who lived in Bloomfield until the late 1950's?--given name unknown. Any information anyone could give me would be deeply appreciated.
