I'm trying to research a couple who I think are buried at Dalner Cemetery, in Jefferson County, Iowa. The names are Casper Otterbine and Mary Schlage, husband and wife. Is there anyone who can point me in the correct direction? They are my great-great- great grandparents. Thank you. Please email me at [email protected]

Looking for information on Robert McKinney, born in Western PA about 1830, who moved to Iowa where he his first wife Rebecca died. Robert subsequently married Julia Delaney. The couple moved to Arkansas until about 1860, back to PA for about 12 years and back to Iowa until his death in 1903. I don't know where in Iowa they lived and died. Any info would be appreciated.

I'm looking for information on my great-grandfather, George Leonard Oertel, born in July of 1844 in Germany. He died in Leavenworth, KS, and is buried at the National Cemetery there. I recently found out that he was married once before my ggrandmother... on December 24, 1871 in Appanoose County, Iowa, to Emeline Bowman. We know they had children, one of which was named Martha (found in FCensus) living with him and my ggrandmother. I've heard others came to Kansas also. My email address is [email protected]

Sarah Elizabeth McCullough had a daughter by a previous marriage, her name was Anna. No further info. I have Sarah's paternal and maternal lines.

What I have been told that I need verification and further information on: George was the son of John Jacob Clark and Nancy. He was their only child. He always said that "Brothers and sisters have I none, half brothers and sisters a dozen and one." His mother was previously married and had a son which she brought to this marriage. John Jacob was previously married and had twelve children. He was married three times. When he married Nancy, his older children rebelled so he sold his land and took his wife, son and step-son and moved to Iowa from Illinois. I am searching for any info on John Jacob Clark, his wives and the missing thirteen children. It has always been a sourse of sorrow to me that we do not know this family. Any info or suggestions greatly appreciated
