Lemuel McCarty, son of Henry McCarty who came to Tama after the Civil War

Am interested in locating descendants of Lemuel McCarty b. 1854 in Lancaster, PA, son of Henry McCarty and his wife Sarah Anne Zeller(s). Lemuel was killed in a railroad accident in Feb. 12, 1892. His son Melville Robert McCarty was also killed in a railroad accident in 1944. Would like to make contact with any of Lemuel's descendants. Lemuel's daughter Ona Minnie married Arthur Clark and had a sone Herbert who may have descendants. Son Bert Franklin married Gladys Cowen and lived in Eagle Grove, Iowa. Son Irvin married Eidth Wing and had two children. Daughter Flora Delores married James Alexander Dale and had two children who leave descendants. I would like to make contact with any of this family.

Would also like information about Henry McCarty's life in Tama. He came to Iowa from Sterling, Illinois where he served in the Civil War. If anyone has access to land records in Tama that might show where he lived, I'd appreciate that information. Henry died in Kanawha, Iowa

I am looking for the biological grandmother of my husband. Her name was Evelyn Koopman. She had a daughter on 4/10/45 at St. Joes (now called Marion Hospital). This daughter was adopted on 4/17/45. Her name is now Jeanne Asmussen (Kiehl). The records would have been held at the Woodbury County Court House. Any information about Evelyn Koopman would be greatly appreciated.
