Am wondering if the Pioneer Record newspaper in Ida Grove, Iowa, might have a birth announcement for Florence Ann Gleason, born on August 24, 1888. I have sent a check and a request to the Vital Records in the State, but so far, no answer. I have her marriage cert from Libertyville, Illinois but need to know the parents for genealogy purposes. I believe the parents to be John Gleason and Helen Myrick. Nothing shows under them as having her born to them. I have 8 siblings that are her brothers and sisters but don't have the proof of birth. Looking for any information about the Eddy family who lived in Ft. Dodge, Iowa . . . early 1900's until 1959. Walter was an iron vulcanizer, had his own business in Ft. Dodge, Eddy Iron Works. His wife was Marie (Sundeen). They had 4 children: Delores, Phyllis, Darrell and Walter. Both Walter and Marie died in Des Moines in 1959. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
