Sincerely, ABE Halligans from Warren CountyFrom: Marybeth Shea CommentsLooking for information on Halligan Family- Here are some leads. Anthony Halligan and Mary McKenna - Anthony I from County Louth, Mary McKenna from County Meath, Anthony died 1884 Anamosa, Jones Co., Iowa - Mary McKenna died 1870 Moorland, Webster County Iowa. Anthony remarried to P.O. Ambermass ( she had daughter from previous marriage - Margaret Bridget Pierce). Found them listed in the 1850 U.S. Census of Grant County Wisconsin P43350. Patrick, Anthony's brother also lived in Platteville and married Catherine Fay. They had four sons James, Dan, John, Joe. I have information that Anthony's father was Owen Halligan b. 1808 CO Louth, His wife was listed as Mary. My problenm is that I didn't write down my source at the time. It may have been Patrick's marriage record in Grant Co., Wisconsin. Looking for cousins, and especially, a connection to a CATHERINE ELLEN DURRIGAN, who married Daniel Alexander HALLIGAN.
