Rev. George HamiltonFrom: Marilee Cunningham CommentsMy grandfather, Curtis B. Hamilton, was born in Sigourney, IA, in May, 1877. His father was Rev. George Hamilton. The family moved sometime later, and Curtis listed Des Moines as his home when he applied to Drake University in 1894. Is there a town history that was written in the late 1870s, or can anyone advise me regarding birth certificate info for that time period? Thanks Re: B.F. Anderson taken in Davenport, IA. I assume his church must be in that town. He looks to be in his late 20's early 30's, nice looking young man. The picture may have been taken 1880's to 1900 or somewhere in that time frame. I think he may have been my GGGrandfather's brother. Grandpa Anderson immigrated in 1884 to Burlington. Can anyone help me find out who this young man is? Efforts to locate him on the cesus have failed so far. I don't even know what denomination he is. Anyone from Davenport know of a Rev. Anderson early on?
