Hi. We are doing geneology on the Yarrell Family and need some help and additional information. ARE YOU RELATED TO ANY OF THESE PERSONS?

I'm trying to get a message to Jessie J. Sapp of Cantonment, Florida. He submitted Tree #138 to The Familytreemaker Project of Broderbond, Inc. I looked at the tree and many of the persons listed are also in my geneaology file. I'm looking for information on CLOE LlEWELLYN, JANE VEST WHO MARRIED THOMAS, AND MILLY YARRELL WHO MARRIED LIKE BENNETT IN mAY 12, 1766. Do you know who WILSON YARRELL WAS? Wilson was listed in the 1790 Census along with Thomas Yarrell.

I tried to find a website for Jessie, but was unable to.

I am attaching the below listed information.

Emmeline Reddick married Julius Slade Yarrell and they had a son, Thomas Yarrell. Julius Slade' parents were Thomas Yarrell (b. 31 Mar 1776 NC) m. Mary Whitley before 1803.

Thomas Yarrell (not the one above but the first immigrant) and Ann ____ arrived at Philadelphia, PA 7 June 1742 from London, England, having embarked on 15 Mar 1742.

I'm looking for information on Matthew Yarrell and Thomas Yarrell of TYRELL COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA.

According to the "Guardian Bonds of Tyrell County-1739-1869" John Day was appointed guardian for MATTHEW YARRELL on March 8, 1759. The bondsmen were JOHN DAY, JAMES GAINER, FRANCIS KENNEDY. Witnesses were JR. WYNNE AND FR. WARD.

MATTHEW YARRELL later had another guardian appointed on December 10, 1767. The guardian was JAMES GAINER.

Also listed in this Guardian Bond record are Mary Yarrell and Milly Yarrell. THOMAS YARRELL was the deceased person.

Their son, (Rev.) Matthew Yarrell was the one you found who had guardians appointed in 1759 and 1767. The two girls were his sisters that I do not have anything else on. Rev. Matthew Yarrell married Mary Wheatley, daughter of Samuel Wheatley II, his guardian. Their son, Thomas Yarrell m. his cousin, Mary Whitley, the daughter of Samuel Wheatley III and Isabel Crisp. This is about the time when some of the Wheatleys started spelling their name, Whitley. Probably because their father remarried and started a new family.

I do not have any information on the Day people. Do you? You would think they were somehow related. Thomas Wheatley, son of Samuel Wheatley II, married Mary Gainer and were the parents of Lydia Wheatley (b. 1755). Lydia Wheatley married Samuel Crisp, Sr.

I noted there was a will probated in Stokes Co., NC in 1800, Will Book 1 page 143. I don't know if this refers to Thomas Yarrell or Peter Yarrell or if it is my Yarrell. Have you seen this?

Do you have any information on these persons?

Also looking for information on SIMON YARRELL AND THOMAS YARRELL (YEARL), JARRED YARRELL, PEARCE YARRELL, AND R. JANE YARRELL OR REBECCA JANE YARRELL IN LAUDERDALE COUNTY, TOOMSUMBA, MISSISSIPPI.

SIMON YARRELL also alleged had another family in Louisiana, Alabama, Florida.

I will be more than happy to share any other information I have with you.

Thanks,

Marva & Adolph Yarrell Lansing, MI

I am looking for information concerning my maternal g-grandparents and g-g-grandparents who were from Bedford, IA. This is what I know, My great grandmother graduated from Bedford High School in 1918, probably at the Clark Operah House. She had- 2 brothers, Frank Jared and John Jared, and 3 sisters, Viola Jared, Elva Jared, and Ora Jared. Her father was Robert Bruce Jared and her mother was Emily Josephine Scrivner.

She married Edward James Hartman in Maryville, Nodaway Co., MO in 1921. They lived in Bedford. They had two daughters, Doris and Barbara. My grandmother, Doris, graduated from Bedford High School, she was a drum major during her senior year which was probably around 1943 or 1944. She married Philip Benedict in 1945 in Hagerstown, MD.

E J Hartman, Mable Hartman, Robert Bruce Jared and Emily Josephine Jared are all buried at Fairview Cemetery in Bedford.

I am trying to find out more information about Mable's parents and their parents. I believe they are both from Illinois around Paris or Lewiston. Robert's parents are Marshall Jared and Mary Ann ?, Emily's parents are John Scrivner and Emsy ?. It is believed that as a small child, Emily Scrivner and family moved from Illinois to a farm near Siam, IA.

Other information I would like to find out...

Edward James Hartman may have been on the City Council in Bedford, but I do not have any years that he served and would like to know.

Mable Jared was a school teacher in a one room school house, but I don't know where and would like to know.

If anybody out there has any information regarding any of the above people, please Email me at: [email protected].
