Steppuhn and Warner Families

I am looking for information on the following people:

Eugene Steppuhn - know he came from Council Bluffs and was in the navy. Married a woman named Georgia Clark(e) from New York

and

Magadine Steppuhn Warner - she is the sister of Eugene.

My cousin, Patrick Steppuhn, has never met any of his father's family and his mother, Georgia, has not told him any information. She is now 88 and still refuses to tell him about his past.

Any help from anyone will be greatly appreicated.

I saw a post in your discussion group referring to the above person. Since I am doing a one-name study of Leeding I would be grateful if Emmet Gonder of Chicago would contact me by email. I tried the address given in the list but it bounced.

I would welcome contact from any others knowing of Leeding in the US. I know of only two families there, one around Kansas connected to one of the two Australian families, the other in Oregon, linked to one of the four families in the UK.

All the Leeding families go back to Huntingdonshire and Cambridgeshire in England.

Merv Leeding
