I was told that my original first name was Kathy, Kathryn, Or Kathleen. I was adopted in Oregon In September of 1950 just after my first birthday. I had been shuffled between relatives after my birth and was living with relatives in Oregon at the time of my adoption. I was told that my adoptive mother had two telephone converstions from/with my birth mother. The contents of these conversations I know very little about. I know no other information about the adoption except that it was a private adoption and that my adoptive father was the attorney of record. My adoptive parents names are James R. and Betty J. Kuhn. The records are sealed in Deshutes County, Oregon. I was small for my age at one year so I may have been premature or had a low birth weight. I was very blonde as a child and have naturally curly hair. I am 5'6", small boned and have brown hair with red highlights. Depression may be a hereditary factor. I have three natural children (boy 23, girl 20, boy 18) and one stepson (20). I also have one grandchild. I would like to be able to share my biological roots with my children and grandchildren. My daughter looks very much like me and has my same build so I may have looked very much like my mother. I would like to know if I have any brothers and sisters. Parents, if they are still alive would probably be in their mid 70's. If anybody can shed any light on this or help me do some research I'd sure appreciate it.
