Alexander died in October, 1855 and Nancy died October 1876. I believe they are buried in a cemetery in Benton County, and I would appreciate any information about them, especially about their parents.Thank you.Patricia Foster [email protected] q. CRUZON, more info includedFrom: Mike Mc Morris [email protected], [email protected] CommentsI apologize for the previous vague, double post. Hattie Cruzon, born somewhere in Iowa about 1865-67. Her father was C. B. Cruzon (C maybe for Carl). She was married to John Adrian, and moved with him to South Dakota for a while to farm in Hanson County. It is surmised that there was a string of poor conditions, and the farm failed. They moved to Kansas City, MO, and sometime within a few years thereafter Hattie died, probably of tuberculosis, at the age of about 29 in Kansas City, MO Feb. 25, 1896 A Hattie "Adrain" was buried in Kansas City's Union Cemetery, section 9, lot 9, grave 21 on Feb. 26, 1896. The Union Cemetery Historical Society says an obituary on a newspaper microfilm gives her age as 29, her birthplace as Iowa, her cause of death "consumption" and her address at the time of death as 2109 Vine. The grave is likely unmarked, as it does not appear in their registry of legible tombstones. Pollock/Van NoteFrom: [email protected] CommentsI have and Alexander Pollock married to Orpha Van Note in Iowa. One of their children was Hattie or Harriet Pollock who married Joseph Warren Baker and moved to Kansas. Can anyone help me learn anything about this family. thanks [_private/disc3_aftr.htm] |
