Q. How can I find information and photographs of the 38th Iowa Infantry during 1864-65. My great-grandfather, John Pullar, joined Company C, 38th Iowa Infantry in 1864. He lived in New Hampton, Chickasaw County, at the time. I have never seen any photos of him during the Civil War and would very much like to. Thanks to anyone who may offer help.

Recently discovered in my grandfather's photo collection: a photo(taken in France, abt.1918)of a "E.P. Dybdahl" from "Merrill, Iowa USA". I would like to see this photo returned, if not to family, than at least to the part of the country he called home. Email me if you can help.
