I have a record of the discharge of George William Brown, who enlisted at Carydon, Iowa 23 Sept 1899 and was discharged 30 June 1901. Can't find any more info on this regiment. It is spelled Carydon on this record...should it be Corydon???? Is this a town or did it use to be? I saw that it was listed as a county seat. cb
