When he celebrated his 100th birthday there was an article in the Sioux City Journal. Trying to get information on him. He was married to a Mary Ann Wheeler and lived previously in Licking County, OHIO. He served in the Mexican War of 1846

Q I'm trying to find any information on Rev. Jacob Baumgardner and chldren. Jacob died Jan 1874 in Eldora Iowa. Known children, Timothy, Nathan, Caleb, and Eliza Baumgardner (Millslagle) Caleb was born in Story County 15 October 1857

It is believed that Jacob's wife was Ellenora Remer but not positive on that info. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
