I have a family of ancestors that spent time in Homer, Hamilton CO., IA 1852 - 1876. Henrey Shoults and his wife Agnes (Boomer)SHOULTS moved to Homer with their baby ... James Madison Shoults. There were 8 children born at Homer : Lizzie or Mary E., June, Marie, Janie, Elizabeth, Harvey, Henrietta or Etta, and an infant son. Nancy M. "Agnes" (Hannah) Shoults died after giving birth to a baby son abt 1869/70, the baby was taken care of by Grandma ELLIS (future Mother-in-law of Etta). But, the baby died a few months later. Agnes and the infant were buried in Webster City, IA.(need documentation of deaths and burials). Etta Shoults was b. 27 MAR 1865 in Webster City, IA. She married Harvey Benjamin Ellis. James Moved the family to Lehigh, Webster Co., IA around 1876. Would like any info anyone may have stumbled on, as well as docs for Births, deaths, bur, and weds there.
