Carnival Family-BrowningFrom: [email protected] CommentsI am looking for any information on a carnival family traveling in Iowa in the 1940's and 1950's. They has at least 4 children;3 girls and 1 boy. All four were given up for adoption. Two girls;Carol and Sharon were adopted to a family in Omaha,Ne. The other two;Barbara and Bill were left in a convent in Iowa and eventually ended up in an orphage in Lincoln, Ne. The Brownings are of German descent and very little information is known due to thier carnival life. We do know that two of the girls had broken noses at the time of thier adoption. Any information would be greatly appreciated. [_private/disc3_aftr.htm] |
