the Altman FamilyFrom: Dale Reilley, a g.g.g. grandson CommentsJohan Altman immigrated from Otterstdt, Bavaria in 1854 or so along with extended family and 8 daughters. I suspect, from family oral history, that Jonan went to live with one of the younger daughters who was then farming in Keokuck County. (I can get the daughters married name) Here, in Keokuck Co., he died in 1889. Since he was Catholic, I suspect he would have been buried in a Cathlic Cemetery. The rest of his family are buried in Solon, IA. George PascalFrom: [email protected] CommentsGeorge Pascal b.3-14-1828 Alsace Lorraine, France to Nicholas Worms"Wourms" and Anna Jacobs.
